How can LIT Hotel Suite lighting influence your guest’s experience?

Mood Creation – Present the color of the mood you would like to create for your guest to experience when first entering their suite. Example; Blue = coolness/relaxation, Green = calmness, Red = warmth, Pink = sensitivity and romance, etc.)
Guest Preference – Have the guest’s room illuminated in their preferred color at arrival (save preferred color in their profile)
Sporting Events – Show the guest’s home team colors if they are in town for the big game.
Holidays – Instill the holiday season spirit (Valentines Day, Saint Patricks Day, Christmas, July 4th, Halloween, etc.)

You can give your guest complete control with the LIT Hotel Suite remote control. They will also enjoy an in room copy of the LIT Mood Light booklet that explains how color and light can affect and influence our moods. The booklet also shows how simple it is to change colors, light shows, and operate for in-room entertainment.

How its done
LIT’s Hotel Suite product is a system of full color (RGB) LED lights controlled by a proprietary DMX controller.  The RGB LED lights consist of wall washers, spot lights, strip lights, etc and are installed in the architectural elements and “voids” in the space.  The voids consist of under, behind and over furnishings and architectural elements such as coves, seating, night stands, TV stands, desks, curtain valences, and other architectural elements. The LED lights are not seen; only the glow shows. Your guest will have complete control of the LED lighting modes with a handheld remote or wall panel control. Thus the luxury suite’s personality comes to life as the LED lights come on.  This brings a new dimension of experience for your guest.  Their mood is heightened in an immersive lighting experience.

The LIT and the intelligient control system can integrate into the in-room entertainment system. If the guest’s profile data can be captured in the hotel property management system it can in turn automatically be sent to the room so the mood lights and the desired music are playing when the guest walks in. Or you can choose to display their preferred style of artwork on the room’s plasma screen with complimentary LED light colors illuminating the room.

Additionally, if the guest is returning to this location or checking into another franchise location, his or her preferences can be captured from the room’s devices from the last visit, and the room will be adjusted accordingly.

At check-in, the lights will be activated for the guest’s preferences. This all translates into increased levels of satisfaction—driving not only loyalty and return visits, but also new business through recommendations from guests and independent industry guides.
